This is the annoying squeaking/squealing/dolphin like noise coming from the driver side front suspension… It is caused by a leaky/fauly lower ball joint… Car had about 60000 miles when it started making the noise. This is a common issue and it’s a 6 on the DIY scale of 1-10. What you need to fix: ~ Replacement ball joint runs from (OEM) to about (heavy duty aftermarket) EACH. ~ You might need to buy a Ball Joint separator from harbor freight ~ You can rent a ball joint press from autozone for free. ~ It helps to have an air compressor & Impact wrench… It not, a regular ratcheting socket wrench w/ a cheater bar will work fine also (just more elbow grease needed).. Took me about 4-5 hrs on the driver side. A year later, doing the passenger side, I was done in about 1hr (learning curve).
